Hello! Welcome to Dried Delights. My name is Ashlyn Szabo. I am a senior at Edison High School. Since I am a small business, every batch of fruit is made with love! I hope you enjoy it!
MEET OUR INSPIRATION
Dry Delights was created to honor a lovely woman by the name of Heather Szabo, the owner's mother. Heather unfortunately passed away from cancer in 2015. Due to her illness, the years before her demise were filled with strict diets. Heather would constantly be watching what she ate and made sure to feed her daughters nutrient-rich foods. Dried fruit was one of her favorite snacks to give them. It was a snack that always reminded the owner of her mother, so she decided to create a company in remembrance of her. Anyone who knew Heather was blessed to have her in their lives. She is/was truly an angel with the purest of hearts. Dry Delights hopes to carry on her legacy of generosity and make a difference in the world that she would've loved to make. Dry Delights will donate 25% of its profits towards cancer research at the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR).
